At The Gray Academy Your child will participate in developmentally age appropriate activities throughout the day.

Infants & Toddlers program
The Gray Academy Infants & Toddlers program is aligned with The Creative Curriculum© Leading research on cooperative early learning shows us that young children learn best when they are actively engaged in the process of creating and exploring the world around them. Children in our care benefit from active teaching strategies crafted to their individual needs. Even our youngest students learn independence through predictable routines and projects that interest them.

Infant Program

Toddler Program

Two's Program
The Twos classroom is the child’s first introduction to our preschool program. Our two year old curriculum focuses on observation and assessment to help your child reach his or her highest levels of development.
- We have created an environment that promotes the independence that children need to gain and build confidence.
- We use Creative Curriculum that includes activities such as puppets for role playing; craft materials like paint, crayons, paste and collage materials; and manipulatives for fine motor experiences.
- Children spend time having fun and exploring nature in our bright outdoor play area just adjacent to the Two’s room.
- We encourage care for the environment by preserving our flowers and plants in the yard by tending to them and watering them as needed.
- We also encourage recycling. After lunch and nap, the fun and learning continues with more activities such as musical games, dramatic play and building blocks.

Preschool Program
Preschool is a big year. We’ve designed our program to give you complete confidence in every aspect of your child’s experience; from health and safety; to ready-for-school curriculum; to the full support of experienced teachers. Just as important, our program is based on what research says best prepares children for kindergarten…and all the big steps ahead.

Our preschool program includes:
- Independent, teacher-directed, and small-group activities that encourage investigation, exploration, and discovery.

Before & After School Program

Enrolling your child in The Gray Academy before & after school program can give you peace of mind while helping your children learn, complete homework, and also have fun. We have developed many creative ways to turn before & after school into productive time. This is a great benefit for all kids, and especially those with learning or attention challenges. Our programs provide homework help giving children an opportunity to do their assignments and also seek a teachers assistance, should they need it.

Many parents feel one of the greatest benefits of our program is that their children are able to complete their homework here, so they can have a more relaxing evening at home. Another benefit is they allow children to have fun in a relaxed safe atmosphere, promote new interests, and inspire intellectual curiosity.

Summer Program

The Gray Academy’s summer program is a great way to keep your child entertained during those long sunny months while school is out. It is an opportunity for them to explore their interests and continuously work on personal growth and development.

Our summer program sessions provide a structured and positive environment, keeping kids active and safe while at the same time giving them the opportunity to learn about building relationships with other kids their age.
